Scribbles

For the first time in a long time I’ve added a new feature to the website: scribbles.

What you’re seeing and reading right now is a scribble. It’s a way for me to share shorter thoughts/writing and package it in a different way than my regular blog posts. It’s a way for me to share my mind’s scribbles.

To be clear, this is nothing novel. There seems to be a recent trend of creating “notes” or “microblog” sections to personal websites this year and I’m just hopping on the train — albeit with a different name.

I’m also planning to use scribbles for my book, movie, and tv reviews. For a long time my reviews page has only provided a basic star rating and I’ve wanted a way to include some thoughts that expand upon those ratings. I can now do that.

In fact, along with this scribble, I’ve published a short review for The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches — an absolutely delightful book I finished back in May.
